I am so happy you are here!!

I'm going out on a limb and guess that life is pretty hard right now or you've "hit the wall" and are completely stressed out!! Well, You're in the right place!


Hi, I'm Jeannie the coach behind Living Wellness. I specialize in stress management and have created this blog as a way to shed light on the stressors of life, share insights and stories of resilience, discuss the advantages of stress, and provide practical tools for stress management.

Humble Beginnings


I have many pivotal moments in my life that I could share, but what is more important to me is how I showed up in those moments. There have been so many ups and downs and plot twists in my life that talking about just one doesn’t paint the picture because just one wasn’t what made me who I am now. If the title didn’t give it away, I am a gardener and lover of plants of all kinds. I equate my life to gardening and have always said that asking questions is what cultivated the change in my life—much like tending to a garden.  I am curious by nature and out of that curiosity grew a passion for understanding why life can be such a struggle. This passion created change in my life and now I want to help others with their journey to navigate their stress, and all that life has to throw at them.

That is why I became a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach and built my business, Living Wellness. I specialize in mental fitness, behavior change, and helping you manage stress. I empower women to take back their time by prioritizing what they need and want rather than all of the “should do’s” or what everyone else expects from them. Unforeseen events happen and throw us off our game but it doesn’t mean that we have to put ourselves last or that we have failed.

Built to be a nurturing space for reclaiming balance in your life and based on four pillar Awareness, Acceptance, Balance and Compassion.


AWARENESS

Much like turning a light on when you are looking for something in a closet, awareness helps you see your thoughts, emotions and behaviors in a clear and honest way. By cultivating self-awareness, you can identify patterns, triggers, and thoughts that get in the way of your peace, balance, and growth.

ACCEPTANCE

Now that the light is on, acceptance is about acknowledging and embracing what you see. It’s not about judgment but understanding that we are a work in progress. Acceptance nurtures a kinder relationship with yourself and leaves room for positive change.

BALANCE

Life is much like a garden and you are its caretaker, carefully tending to the flowers of priorities, the roots of needs, and the seeds of wants. It’s not about walking a tightrope; it’s about nurturing the garden with attention and intention. Your job; ensure that each flower gets what it needs and decide if the dandelions are flowers or weeds.

COMPASSION

Compassion is like the warm hug of sunshine. Self-compassion is a powerful tool for change. Things go wrong, life happens and when you treat yourself with kindness and respect, it fosters a supportive environment for growth and resilience.
